About Horse Camp

Horse Camp is a farm based camp for children 8 – 13* years of age. Horse Camp is offered in two-week sessions with limited one-week options. Campers participate in horse riding and stable management lessons twice a week and equine assisted learning (EAL) once a week.

*Note: Campers with a diagnosis/special need are able to attend from 13 – 21 years of age.)

Fridays are special at Sunrise! Every Friday is a theme day. We encourage campers to dress up and show their camp spirit.

New campers with a special need or diagnosis are required to come to Sunrise for a pre-camp assessment with the Camp Coordinator. A Physician Referral Form and Individual Profile Form is also required. Registration is complete when all paperwork has been received and assessment is completed.
