Little Breeches Program
About the Program
Little Breeches is an inclusive farm-based program for children aged 5-8 and 9-12 years old. The program provides the opportunity for children to visit the Sunrise farm to learn about horses and participate in horse care and other activities such as:
- Weekly seasonal and horse-related themes
- Interactive and hands-on activities
- Grooming, leading & washing miniature horses
- Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)
- Crafts
- Outdoor Games
- Playground
- Archery
- Low Ropes Course

Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Admission Procedures
To apply for this program, please email campcoordinator@sunrise-therapeutic.ca to receive the current registration form.
In addition to the Registration Form, please note that new participants with a diagnosis/special need are required to complete a Physician Referral (PDF), Introduction Letter & Individual Profile (PDF), and Bodily Contact Policy Acknowledgment (R10), Photo Release & Liability Waiver (DOCX). These forms can be downloaded here, or obtained from the Camp Coordinator together with the Registration Form via email. Registrants must also come to Sunrise before the start of the program for an assessment with the Little Breeches Coordinator. The assessment allows for the Little Breeches Coordinator to meet the participant and determine if any additional support will be needed for a successful experience.
