"Hike 4 Horses" is an annual event hosted by Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre where you can learn more about us and our amazing horses all while helping our charity raise funds.
This year we hosted our second annual event on Sunday, September 27, 2026, and raised over $6200.
Attendees planning to hike, run or walk the trails were able to collect pledge forms in support of Sunrise. And all guests at the event were treated to:
- A run, walk or hike through the meadows and forests on our beautiful property
- A lunch time BBQ
- Free Family Activities including Fire Trucks, meeting the fire department's Pluggie the robot fire hydrant & Sparky the mascot, face painting, loot and much more!
- For 2026, participants were welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs for the hike
- All proceeds from this event supported the care and well-being of our horses!
