As a special education teacher, I have been witnessing the magic and the miracles at Sunrise for over 26 years. Children and adults with a range of special needs benefit from the magical connection between horse and rider….I have made an important discovery during my many years of teaching and taking my students to Sunrise. At school, home and in the clinical setting there is not a single approach, strategy or technique that can be implemented by teacher, parent or caregiver to achieve the same results and level of success as that accomplished by the Sunrise therapy horses.
